FUCINA DELLE ARTI

Condividi

Fucina delle Arti was one of the first coopstartups. It is located in Viterbo and aims at promoting the arts and culture of the local area, nationwide and abroad.
Let us hear their experience.

Where does the idea come from?

We are local people involved in the Arts in different ways who saw the need to promote the cultural wealth of the Tuscia area creating employment through organizing different educational programs and artistic events (shows, exhibitions, concerts, theatre, cinema, etc.).

How is the team made up?

The founders are:

Sesto Quatrini, orchestra conductor and composer
Stefano D’Alessandro, architect and designer
Marco Maria Gazzano, university professor in Cinema and Electronic Arts History
Edoardo Novelli, university professor in Communications
Carlo Palozzi, expert in Cooperation and Management
Isabella Pomi, expert in Cultural Heritage and Cinema
Gioia Tarulli, choreographer and dancer

What is your medium/long term goal?

We want to provide a community service but remaining fully autonomous in planning and carrying out our activities. Fucina delle Arti would like to be a meeting point to share artistic experiences both old and new, creating innovative proposals to enhance the Tuscia region.

Why a cooperative?

We think it is the right tool to fulfill our objectives, creating employment for young people and the more disadvantaged in our community. A cooperative is a way to bring together artistic producers, users and the community as a whole.
