COOPERATIVE PROFILE
ETICAE – Stewardship in Action is a cooperative that focuses on consultancy and training on ethical management.
Registered on Lazio Innovatore gateway as innovative company, ETICAE – Stewardship in Action is also an innovative startup officially registered in the dedicated register of the Italian Chambers of Commerce. It is the first Italian company providing training and mentorship services on stewardship. Stewardship is a standard used at international level to manage responsibly products as: antibiotics, plant protection products, fertilizers and others; and common goods like forests, lands, health, finance, water and fishery resources. On water-related aspects, ETICAE – Stewardship in Action, thanks to the collaboration with the European Water Stewardship, is the only Italian company able to provide consultancies to obtain the water stewardship certification (ethical water management).
In addition to stewardship, ETICAE – Stewardship in Action offers services on social accountability (social report, sustainability report), SA8000 ethical certification, ethical code and stakeholder engagement.
TARGET MARKET
The activities promoted by ETICAE – Stewardship in Action are directed towards bodies, organizations and all realities interested in implementing their corporate social responsibility systems. In particular concerning social reporting, ETICAE – Stewardship in Action focuses on social cooperatives, associations in the so-called “Third sector” and social enterprises that, after the Third sector reform in Italy, are required to publish non-financial accountability.
Another target market is the so-called EIPR (Relevant public interest entities), such as banks, insurance companies and Italian security issuers (listed on the stock exchange) that need to report “Non-financial declarations” with a specific focus on all policies concerning environmental, social, human rights, anti-corruption topics.
Last but not least, ETICAE – Stewardship in Action targets all companies interested in obtaining the ethical certification on water or paper/forestry products (Water Stewardship and Forest Stewardship) as well as the ethical workers and supply chain certification SA8000.

The cooperative is made up of five members, all qualified experts as: Ethics Officer, Stewardship Expert, SA8000 Auditor, SQA Auditor, FSC and WS Auditor, CSR Specialist.
