Cooperative profile
Meet Project would like to set up a coworking environment open to traditional clients, such as young people, professionals and companies, and to a new target group composed of migrants (asylum seekers or refugees).
The cooperative offers the following services:
- Coworking “Impresa Meticcia”: a flexible and convenient space to work together and exchange ideas. It is designed to attract young entrepreneurs and professionals and businesses, but in general local people – Italians and foreigners, wanting to learn and share. The coworking space will be located in Catanzaro, but, upon request, it will be possible to organize specific services in other towns spreading the experience;
- Empowerment and Startup: entrepreneurship training and startup coaching, through seminars and workshops, directed to coworkers and to external groups of people coming from schools, associations, migrant centres;
- Networking and entrepreneurship promotion: to foster collaboration among people attending the activities, promote inclusion and cultural exchanges and encourage a business mindset generation.
Target market
The cooperative target market can be split in two groups:
Direct clients – people, Italians and foreigners, between 18 and 40 years willing to become entrepreneurs and aware of social problems, particularly those connected to migrant inclusion; asylum seekers and refugees living in refugee centres (SPRAR and CAS); free lancers and professionals; companies and associations.
Indirect clients – local government agencies, municipalities, Chambers of Commerce, worker and employer associations, centres for migrants and refugees, schools, universities, venture capitalists, other Coworkings.
Founders
The cooperative is made up of six members, graduates in Literature, Economics and Law, who have been working together for some years in training, communication and cultural mediation projects.
