Cooperative profile

ERSE “Ecological Research and Services for the Environment” offers environmental analysis and monitoring services to carry out sustainable land-use planning. It answers the need to incorporate these in any planning action boosting quality and environmentally friendly practices. The services provided to public and private entities are suitable for:

• land-use planning (Environmental Impact Studies and Assessments)
• protected area management (Action Plans for Wildlife, Habitat and Ecosystem Conservation)
• euro-funded project planning aimed at recovery and environmental damage prevention.

To promote responsible tourism it also offers environmentally friendly guided hiking tours.

Erse’s key strength lies in its synergy of competences and skills to be able to work on any specific stage of environmental analysis: from collecting specimens to planning damage prevention measures.

Target market

The cooperative’s target market is a growing one due to changes in environmental legislation and standards required by consumers worldwide. Target clients will be local authorities being mainly responsible for land use policies and private companies especially those working in the field of construction. The cooperative, working since 2014 as an Association of professionals, would like to broaden its client base starting with some clients located in different Italian regions (Toscana, Liguria, Emilia Romagna, Lazio, Umbria and Marche).

Founders

The cooperative is made up of five members with strong competences in the environmental field: two biologists, two marine biologists and one natural scientist.
