ecoplanner plans and organizes eco-sustainable events for individuals, public entities and private companies. The team is able to tailor all aspects to each event along ecofriendly lines trying to reduce the environmental impact in a range of areas, including catering and food, choice of venues and waste reduction. In such a way, the cooperative would like to promote a green life style and to raise awareness about economic, social and environmental sustainability. The cooperative’s key activities are:
- eco-sustainable event planning and organization (meetings, conferences, exhibitions, weddings, graduations, birthday parties, etc.);
- organization of workshops on environmental issues focusing on practical activities such as recycling, upcycling and fair trade;
- organization of social communication campaigns to encourage changes in user behavior for a more environmentally and socially responsible attitude;
- promotion of “green event” certification.
Target market
The cooperative’s target market is a growing one. The data suggests that green products and services will continue to capture greater and greater market share. Given a choice between green and non-green products of similar quality, consumers are increasingly choosing green. Target clients are aware individuals and companies appreciating environmentally oriented initiatives and actions and willing to make a green choice without compromising on elegance and quality.
Founders
The cooperative is made up of five members from different backgrounds (an economist, an art historian, an architect, a designer and an interior designer) but sharing the same commitment to a green life style.
